Hermosa Valley Spring Musical

The Hermosa Valley 2008 Spring Musical, "The Nifty Fifties", was produced and directed by the team of Kris Basua, Jeri Reeder, and Chris Shima.  All middle-school students are eligible to participate in the spring production.  Rehearsals typically start in December, with performances in March.

Many of the actors who participate in the spring musicals have gone on to dramatic success in high school and beyond.  This demonstrates the importance of having the visual and performing arts as an integral part of a well-rounded curriculum.  Even if participants do not continue with drama, they have gained the confidence to be successful in any pursuit.
